What do I mean? The 1st 100 Pets produced were very special. Why? 'Cause the headstocks were personally signed by John Petrucci before the clear coat was applied. So instead of the stock, silk-screen of John's sig., you have the real deal. 50 were sent to the US, 50 went overseas.
Take a look:
Here's the scoop from the EBMM site, way back in '01:
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (June 6th, 2001) - John Petrucci, one of rock's most renowned and universally respected guitarists, is collaborating with Ernie Ball/Music Man on his own signature model guitar. To kick off the upcoming July release of his guitars, Petrucci hand-signed the first 100 production models. The signing took place in New York, with Greg Timmons of Ernie Ball on hand to mark the event. "We loved John's idea of signing the first 100," commented Timmons. "It really makes the first production run a special one," continued Timmons.
